CONVERTERS Showed Dyna-Tek Some Love at LABELEXPO AMERICAS 2024

As hopeful as we were to have a good show at the LABELEXPO AMERICAS 2024 in Chicago last week, nothing prepared us for the great reactions we received from the 350+ Converters who asked to scan their badges at our booth!

Even though the majority of these Converters had never heard of us, the promise of stopping adhesive buildup was too tempting for them to keep walking by without knowing more.

Their curiosity was always rewarded when they learned that we offered:

• DIY: Our products are for THEM to apply. Converters can now control their own NON-STICK destinies by applying our wipe-on, hydrophobic coatings that air-dry in 60-90 min. vs. relying on others to provide non-stick surfaces.
• NOT JUST FOR DIES: Works on any components that come in contact with adhesives including dies, rollers (both metal and non-metal), slitter and crush blades, or even tools such as scissors.
• DURABLE: Our patented coatings are durable, semi-permanent non-stick coatings that will last as long as other hydrophobic PTFE coating options.
• ABILITY TO RECOAT over prior applications of our coatings. Like ANY coating, ultimately operational wear and tear takes it toll… often even before the highly engineered blades begin to dull. Now, Converters can re-apply our coatings and rejuvenate the non-stick properties again.
• HIGH VALUE – LOW COST! Coating costs of $5-$6 per sq. ft. vs. more than $100 for other competing options.

With any new coating technology, it makes sense that there might be some skepticism. We saw this a couple of times, but the skepticism disappeared when attendees went over to our “No-Stick Challenge” display. They would begin to pull on 12” wide sheets of duct tape, or one of several of the top-rated, high-strength bonding tapes… and these tapes would peel off with no effort until the attendee reached the “uncoated” part of the panels and/or rollers. It really does work that well!

We found the LABELEXPO AMERICAS 2024 Show well organized and worthwhile.
